  • The Seagram Cultural Heritage Landscape is the birthplace of the world renowned Seagram Distillery operated by Joseph E. Seagram.
  • Seagram distillery produced many well known products including Crown Royal and Seagram’s VO.
  • The landscape contains five historic Seagram buildings that are now designated under the Ontario Heritage Act.
  • The site contains one of biggest concentrations of historic barrel warehouses in Ontario.
  • 57 Erb Street West opened in 1984 as the Seagram Museum. The Museum closed in 1997.
  • Governor General Medals of Architecture were awarded to both the Seagram Museum addition and the Canadian Institute for Governance and Innovation (CIGI) building.
